It is our core belief that small groups are vital for the health of our church. Therefore, small groups are not an option for the church, but a necessity. God created us in such a manner that we desire relationships and community (Genesis 1:26, 2:18).

Small Groups exist to be biblical communities that foster spiritual growth and connection through relationships and application of Scripture. Simply put, Small Groups are a place where…

    C:     Community is forged

    A:     Authentic relationships are built

R:     Relevant and Real issues are discussed

    E:     Equipped in God’s Word

In order to fulfill these purposes, all small groups of Bethany must have the following three components: Care, Growth and Service. Every small group must genuinely care for its members through authentic and loving relationships. Every small group must grow in biblical truth. Every small group must reach out to our surrounding community by sharing the saving truth of the Gospel. All three components are essential for a healthy small group.
